About 7th Grade

In the School of Logic, seventh grade students experience Regents’ “waterfall” rotating schedule.  All students take Bible and Latin classes, and advanced-level math and Latin are available.  We study European History through World War I, and Life Sciences including the scientific method.  Each student has one study hall per week, as well as Fine Arts and PE electives.  Our class trip explores the Texas coast.  Homerooms meet daily, and work to install Christlike virtues.

About 8th Grade

Eighth grade students take Logic class, learning to form reasonable arguments and spot flawed ones.  History class covers Europe and the United States in the 20th century, and most of our literature is from American authors.  Earth Science, Latin, and math round out our students’ academic requirements, and students again choose Fine Arts and PE electives.  Our class trip is to the Texas Hill Country, with scientific and historical emphasis, including a USO Dance. Homerooms meet daily, and work to install Christlike virtues.
