TUITION & FINANCIAL assistance

Affording a Regents Education

From its founding, Regents School of Austin has aspired to reflect the larger Christian community in all ways. Regents offers a well-funded, need-based financial assistance program, resulting in broad socio-economic representation among our families. A Regents education represents a long-term investment, and the financial assistance program strives to allow all qualified students to attend and remain at Regents.

The Regents Financial Assistance Program includes financial grants and monthly payment plans. We encourage any current or prospective parent who is concerned that they may not be able to afford a Regents education for their children to apply. The financial assistance process is confidential and completely separate from the admissions process.

Regents partners with a third party for assessment of all financial assistance applications.  Please see our Financial Assistance Program Overview for further details, including deadlines, instructions, and related fees.

FAQs
Does applying for financial assistance affect my student’s opportunity for admission?

Admission decisions are made on a need-blind basis and are not informed by any request for financial assistance.

Are monthly payment plans available?

Monthly payment plans are a part of the financial assistance program. Families wishing to pay monthly complete a financial assistance application for each school year.  Dewar tuition insurance is required to be purchased by families who pay monthly.

Does Regents offer merit or athletic scholarships?

The Regents financial assistance program is strictly need-based. We do not offer merit or athletic scholarships.

What is the timeline to apply for financial assistance?

Prospective families complete a financial assistance application while working through the admissions application process. Please see Admissions Dates and Deadlines for further details. Current Regents families apply for financial assistance by November 30 each year for the following school year.

What is tuition insurance?

Regents offers Dewar tuition insurance to families who wish to mitigate the financial consequences of an unexpected withdrawal. Families receiving a financial grant and/or paying monthly are required to purchase tuition insurance each year. The tuition insurance rate is set annually by Dewar and is typically 1-2% of a student's total tuition amount.

Whom should I contact with questions about financial assistance or tuition?
