Beginnings
On August 19, 2021, Regents School of Austin began its 30th year of providing a classical Christian education. Truly, this is a significant moment in our history as an institution and community. Regents is not just a human accomplishment, but a remarkable work of the Lord using His people to achieve something bigger than themselves. In Psalm 118:23, the psalmist states, “This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.”

Park Hills Baptist Church
1992
Students: 18
Teachers: 2
Regents School of Austin began at Park Hills Baptist Church with 18 students, two classrooms, two teachers and four grades in humble, rented church space.

|
Tarrytown Baptist Church
1995
Students: 131
Regents serves 131 students from kindergarten through eighth grade. At this time, Regents moved from Park Hills Baptist Church to Tarrytown Baptist Church.

New Permanent Campus
1999
Students in grades seventh through twelfth began learning on our permanent Southwest Austin campus. Meanwhile, kindergarten through sixth grade classes continued at Tarrytown Baptist Church.

First Graduation
2000
Students: 346
Regents serves 346 students in total, and the first seniors graduate from our school.

All Students, Same Campus
2001
Students: 477
Alumni: 11
All 477 students across kindergarten through twelfth grade are now housed on the same campus in Southwest Austin. Regents graduates nine more seniors, bringing our total alumni count to 11.

Science & Nature Center
2003
Students: 584
Alumni: 26
Growth continues and Regents expands to serve 584 students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. The alumni count now totals 26. The beloved Regents Science and Nature Center officially opens, with the first animals being miniature donkeys and goats.

20th Anniversary

Alumni: 331
By God's grace, Regents celebrates our 20th year anniversary. The school serves 940 students from kindergarten through twelfth grade, and has 331 alumni.

25th Anniversary

Students: 1,032

Regents celebrates our 25th anniversary, serving 1,032 students and bringing our alumni count to 754.

On Campus, On-Time, In Person
2020
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Regents School of Austin opened on-time, in-person, in-full, on August 20, 2020. One of the only schools in the area offering in-person learning, Regents was able to provide on-campus education for each student during an unprecedented year.

Launched ONWARD
2021
In January of 2021, Regents launched ONWARD, a strategic plan that casts our vision for the next five years.
